Michael with one twin this time plus 2 other girls. Michael ezúttal csak egy ikerrel és 2 másik lánnyal

múlt hét óta új napi beosztásunk van 7.40-8.00ig a piciket üdvözöljük, ahogy érkeznek az iskola busszal. Van, aki sir...van, aki többeket húz kézen fogva (Michael hozza a Tina-Mina ikerpárost kézenfogva)...van, aki nagy táskával jön és van, akinek nincs is holmija. Mindenesetre ők 8kor már startra készen várják az ovit. Az első óra angol (előtte reggeli-kinában mindig meleg a reggeli pálcával fogyasztandó) aztán mi megint órát tartunk egy másik csoportnak. Aztán torna óra van az udvaron, bébi aerobik féle 9.40-10.00ig. Itt készült néhány kép mindenki örömére.

A tanitásba is belejövünk, a tréning, amin be kellett volna tanulnunk az elmaradt igy magunktól próbálunk ki dolgokat.

A nehézség az, hogy semmit nem lehet egyhangúan tanitani, mert akkor unalmas és nem jegyzik meg, ha viszont nem elég egyszerű, akkor meg érthetetlen.

Már egész sok anyagot kidolgoztunk, mert itt ugye sok minden nem áll rendelkezésre.

• Vannak állatkártyák
• színes labdák (azokra szoktam ragasztani a tanulandó szavakat)
• szinkártyák
• francia kártyák számolásra
• sokféle ppt (amiből szavakat lehet tanulni vagy meg kell számolni a képeken látható embereket, tárgyakat)
• Bandi irt dalt is (az nekem nem megy örülök, ha eléneklem, amit kell. Az Insy-winsyvel már a megastar-ban is indulhatnék)
• rajzoltunk kifestőt (nagyon szépek szivesen elküldöm bárkinek)
• lamináltunk gyümölcskártyát, hogy lehessen piacot csinálni
• rajzolok a picikre szemceruzával
• vágok ki matricákat ragadós papirból
• bowling műanyag üvegekkel (számolásra)

Szóval minden nap kell valamit kitalálni, ha ez nem innováció, akkor semmi. Legalábbis mi úgy éljük meg. Bár a vezetőség nem sokat feedbackel minket, de a gyerekek egyből eldöntik mi válik be. Igy van mihez tartani magunkat. A picik meg nagyon akarnak tanulni, csak lényeg, hogy játéknak fogják fel.

Since last week we have a new daily routine we greet the kids arriving with the schoolbus from 7.40-8.00. Some kids cry... some kids holds others hand and takes them to the classroom. (Like Michael every morning brings the Tina-Mina twins) Some kids have big bag others don't have anything to carry. But each and everyone is ready to start first lesson is English (prior to that there is breakfast-which is always warm in China and it is to be consumed with chopsticks) then we have English lesson with a different class. From 9.40-10.00 there is baby aerobic or PE lesson on the yard. We took some pictures here just to bright up the Chinese baby fan's day:-) Howard and Mark teaching me how to dance :-)

We are getting better and better in teaching though the training for us was just cancelled. So we are improvising a lot but I guess that is needed to fulfill our job.

We have to overcome quite a few difficulties, as kids only pay attention if they find the topic interesting (to be more exasct either or the topic or the method) but in the meantime it has to be simple.

We developped quite a few teaching materials so far, because the kindergarden has limited amount of them:

• animal cards
• couloured balls (I stick the picture of the object or animal I want to teach them)
• coloured papers for learning colours
• French cards for counting
• many ppt-s ( teaching words or making kids count the objects on the picture etc)
• Bandi composed a song (i could never do that. It’s challenging enough for me to sing for them. But I could hit America’s Got Talent with Insy-winsy spider song)
• we draw coloring sheets (they are really nice and related to the weekly teaching plan I can send them to anyone)
• we laminated fruit cards, so that we could organize a mini-market
• I sometimes draw on the kids hand with eye-liner
• we create stickers (cutting small shapes from sticky paper)
• we play bowling with plastic bottles (to teach them counting)

Well we consider this innovation, we have to create new materials everyday for each and every group. So far we didn’t recieve feedback from the management, but the kids give feedback on the spot so we know how to move on with our teaching. As they are eager to learn if English is associated with games and fun.
