Az utak itt jó minőségüek általában 2-3 sáv van irányonként meg egy bicikli/ gyalogos/ futottak még/ 'már csak ide tudtam besorolni' kategória. Mindig egyenesen megy, mondjuk érthető, ha a nagy távolságokra gondolunk, meg arra, hogy 2 pont közti legrövidebb távolság az egyenes.
A közlekedés menete kaotikus, de van egy két iratlan szabály, amit be kell tartani.
Jogsid 17 éves korodtól lehet.
Jobbra tarts (előzésnél ahogy sikerül)
Belső sávban nem a gyorsabb jármű közlekedik.
Indexet nem kell használni, helyette kormány van előzésre, kanyarodásra, sávváltásra egyaránt. (sztem nincs is a kocsikon index itt)
Ha azt akarod, hogy ne kanyarodjanak ki eléd, akkor dudálj.
Gyalogosként bárhol közlekedhetsz kivéve, ha dudálnak rád, akkor várj. (6 sávon is át lehet menni csúcsforgalomban csak több részletben. Az úttest közepén van egy dupla sárga csík felfestestve itt kell várni gyalogosan, ha minden irányból jönnek a járművek. Itt olyan 15 ember sorakozik átkelésenként közben két oldal autók haladnak el.)
Tehát röviden összefoglalva fék helyett duda, index helyett kormány.
Egyetlen balesetet sem láttunk, még de néha komoly félemünk van, vajon egyben hazahoz-e a taxi.

Beijing transportation system is hard to describe. (we have no data from other parts of China) To be politicaly correct it is somewhere between creative and opportunist.
Here there are good quality roads about 4-6 lanes including an extra lane used by bikes/pedestrians/ others/ and those who could only survive overtaking an other vehicle by using this extra lane. All roads go straight ahead for kilometres, this is quite understandable considering long distances and the fact that the shortest way connecting 2 points is a straight line.
How transportation works here. The following rules must be obeyed:
Driving licences is given over 17.
Keep right (when you overtake someone do however you can)
The inner lane is not necessarry used by the faster vehicle.
Indicator is unnecessary, use the wheel when you turn, overtake and change lanes. (i think there is no indicator on some cars here)
If you don't want to give way, just use the horn.
As a pedestrian, crossing the road, the limit is just your personal fear. If you hear: TOOT don't move. (you can easily cross 6 lanes during rush hour. Just do it step-by-step, lane by lane. In the middle of the road there is double yellow line for pedestrians to survive when cars are speeding in both directions. At every crossing you can find about 15 ppl standing on these lines while cars are passing by in both directions.)
All in all use the horn instead of the brakes and use the wheel instead of indicator.
We haven't seen a single accident here. But we have serious doubts sometimes if we can really get home safe by taxi.
